Abstract
(1,3,5,6)-tetraphenylverdazyl (Ph-TPV) is an organic Heisenberg antife
rromagnet with quasi-one-dimensional properties. We measured the speci
fic heat and electron spin resonance and determined an intrachain exch
ange constant of J(ld)/k(B) = - 17 K and the onset of magnetic long-ra
nge order at T-N = 0.92 K.
