Abstract
The authors studied the biomorph, ontogenetic phases, ecological pecul iarities, life strategy, and the structure and dynamics of populations of one of the characteristic rocky-mountain-steppe plants of the Ural s. The significance of populations' density index and age structure fo r diagnosing their condition and predicting further changes was shown.
