Abstract
The preparation of a new series of Zn(II) and Cd(II) complexes of some naphthylideneamino acids is described. The complexes have been charac terized by elemental analyses, electronic and infrared spectra as well as molar conductance measurements. It is concluded that the bivalent anions of the Schiff bases are coordinated to Zn(II) or Cd(Il) as trid entate ligands (ONO donors).
