SEARCH FOR THE CHI(C)' CHARMONIUM STATES AS SOLUTION TO THE CDF PSI' PUZZLE

The efforts of Roy-Sridhar-Close-Cho-Wise-Trivedi to resolve the CDF p si' anomaly with cascades from above-threshold chi'(c) states require well defined signatures [a small total width and a large branching fra ction for chi'(cJ) --> gamma + psi'] for the solution to be viable. He re we estimate the production of such states from BR(B --> chi'(cJ) X)BR(chi'(cJ) --> gamma psi') and gamma gamma production of chi'(c2) a t CLEO II, and comment on the feasibility of testing the hypothesis in terms of current experimental capabilities.
