Abstract
A systematic study was performed on the adsorption of alditole-water m ixture with a chain length of C-3 to C-6 on KX, KY and Ca(83)NaY zeoli tes. From the adsorption excess isotherms the separation factors and t he equilibrium diagrams x(s) vs x(1) of the binary mixtures were calcu lated. The possible triangles of 0 atoms of polyols and the influence of the conformation on formation of adsorption complexes are discussed .
