H. Dejbakhsh et S. Bouttchenko, BANDS OBSERVED IN RU-102 USING THE INCOMPLETE FUSION REACTION, Physical review. C. Nuclear physics, 52(4), 1995, pp. 1810-1817
The result of the study of the high-spin states of the Ru-102 using th
e incomplete fusion reaction of Mo-100 (Li-7,[p,d,t]xn gamma) at 49 Me
V is presented. The experimental data are the result of particle-gamma
-gamma coincidence and in-plane out-of-plane anisotropy measurements.
The ground state band is extended up to E(x) = 5.719 MeV (J(pi) = 16()), and two other negative parity bands are also extended to higher sp
ins up to E(x) = 4.707 (J(pi) = 13(-)) and E(x)=4.615 MeV. Shape coexi
stence in Ru-102 at lower excitation energies was investigated using a
two-band mixing model. The high-spin features of Ru-102 are compared
with the prediction of the cranked Nilsson model.
