Abstract
The alpha and beta decays of Hf-160-162 were measured following their
productions in Ba-135(S-32,xn) reactions. For the first time gamma tra
nsitions following Hf-160 beta decay were observed. Partial beta-decay
schemes of Hf-161,Hf-162 are presented and the alpha decay rates of H
f-160 and Hf-162 are discussed within the systematics of 0(+)-->0(+) a
lpha reduced widths.
