Abstract
In the framework of thermo field dynamics, the temperature and density effects on nucleon-nucleon interaction for the chiral sigma-omega mod el are investigated. The effective masses of the nucleon, pion, sigma meson and omega meson and the vertex corrections at finite-temperature and density are calculated. We have found that the potential well of the nucleon-nucleon interaction becomes shallow as the density increas es.
