The cosmic ray charged particle scattering in the presence of a regula
r magnetic field is considered starting from the Boltzmann kinetic equ
ation. It is shown that Green's function for the kinetic equation can
be represented as the sum of the distribution function of non-scattere
d particles, which propagate in the injection direction, and the scatt
ered ones. Both the weak scattering and diffusive approximations of th
e obtained general solution are performed. The obtained Green function
of the Boltzmann equation and also the particle density describe the
space-time-pitch angle distribution that corresponds to an instantaneo
us particle injection at a particular pitch angle.
