Abstract
A non-destructive method is described for estimating the service life of radiofrequency cables with polyethylene insulation; a formula is ob tained which establishes the relationship between the life of the cabl e and the alpha-relaxation peak displacement of the frequency and temp erature curves of dielectric losses (tan delta).
