U. Koelle et Ad. Ryabov, THE EFFECT OF CHLORIDE ON THE ELECTROREDUCTION OF NAD(-ASTERISK-RH-III](2+) SPECIES() IN THE PRESENCE OF [CP), Mendeleev communications, (5), 1995, pp. 187-189
A cyclic voltammetry study of the zeta(5)-pentamethylcyclopentadienylr
hodium (CpRh) complexes [(Cp*Rh)(2)(mu-Cl)(3)](+) and [Cp*Rh-aq(III)]
(2+) at pH 6.05 in the absence and in the presence of nicotinamide cof
actors indicates that the chloro complex is more advantageous for elec
trochemical reduction of NAD(+) into NADH; the reverse oxidation of NA
DH by [(CpRh)(2)(mu-Cl)(3)](+) is insufficiently selective for practi
cal applications according to the H-1 NMR data.
