Tbl. Kist, SOLITARY WAVES OF MOLECULAR-DISTRIBUTIONS IN LIQUIDS GENERATED BY ELECTROPHORESIS AND OPTICAL-FIELDS, Physical review letters, 75(6), 1995, pp. 1210-1213
The physical problem of molecular distribution dynamics in liquids whi
ch contain applied electric fields and electromagnetic radiation is mo
deled. In particular, the effect of electrophoretic mobility changes o
f dissolved molecules due to radiation excitation is included in the p
resent model. The resulting set of coupled nonlinear partial different
ial equations governing the spatial motion of these molecular distribu
tions over time exhibit solitary wave solutions for some values of the
equation parameters. Higher resolutions of two components in capillar
y electrophoresis are predicted.
