Oculosympathetic spasm is a rare condition caused by cervical sympathe
tic chain stimulation. We describe a patient with an apical lung tumou
r presenting with ipsilateral facial flushing and raised intraocular p
ressure which subsided following radiotherapy. This is an unusual mode
of presentation for a thoracic tumour and our case highlights the cli
nical significance of oculosympathetic spasm.
