Cross sections of neutron-induced reactions on Rh-103 have been calcul
ated by means of the statistical model and the coupled-channels optica
l model for incident-neutron energies up to 30 MeV. The incentive for
this study was a new measurement of the Rh-103(n,n')Rh-103m cross sect
ion which will-together with the present calculations-enter into a dos
imetry-reaction evaluation. The validation of the model parameters rel
ied on nuclear-structure data as far as possible. Apart from the Rh-10
3(n,n')Rh-103 excitation function also those for the Rh-103(n,2n)(102m
,g,(m+g))Rh, Rh-103(n,3n)(101m,(m+g))Rh, Rh-103(n,p)Ru-103 and Rh-103(
n,alpha)(TC)-T-100 reactions were calculated.
