More than 6000 asteroids in the Solar System have been discovered and
numered, near 500 of them are investigated in details by different met
hods. This rewiew contains observational evidence of fact that ho less
than 10 % from them may consist of two or more bodies. This fact was
confirmed by the discovery of asteroid's Ida satellite by space craft
''Galileo''. All this facts changes the observational and theoretical
paradigms, Space and ground observations of asteroids with the help of
modern teghniques may give new extensive data for creation of double
asteroids model. The examination of asteroid satellites stability, ori
gin and dynamics show that the sphere of stable motion of satellites r
iches to some hundreds of asteroid radius. The suggestion is offered t
hat the origin of asteroid satellites may be explained within the rang
e of general accretion model of the planet satellites origin. The vali
dity of this suggestion is discussed in detail.
