Abstract
Phosphhitocavitands, which on sulfurization result in all-cis-thiophos phatocavitands, have been obtained by phosphocyclization of octahydrox ytetramethyl[1(4)] metacyclophane with amides of phosphorous acid, as confirmed by H-1 and P-31 NMR spectroscopy and X-ray analysis.
