Abstract
The structure of populations (classes of circumferences) was studied i n six of the most representative species of the South Malagasy vegetat ion (Didierea madagascariensis, Alluaudia comosa, Euphorbia laro, Euph orbia fiherenensis, Euphorbia alluaudii ssp. oncoclada, Euphorbia sten oclada). The dynamism of these xerophytes varies with soil nature. The ir regeneration is always difficult and would occur only during rainy years with regular rain distribution.
