Abstract
Recently Mannheim and Kazanas presented the static, spherically symmet ric exact vacuum solution of Weyl gravity and suggested that it could be fitted to general relativistic experimental tests in the solar syst em and to the observed galactic rotation curves. Here we discuss match ing this solution to an interior one that satisfies the weak energy co ndition and a regularity condition at the center. We show that this le ads to contradiction of Mannheim and Kazanas's suggestion.
