Abstract
Single crystals of DyEr thin film alloys have been prepared by Molecul ar Beam Epitaxy. Magnetization and neutron scattering data obtained fr om a 3000 Angstrom thick Dy50Er50 sample show that the magnetic behavi our of the film is close to that of the bulk. Accurate data of the the rmal dependence of the turn angle of the helical phase, of the critica l field at which the ferromagnetic order is induced and of the c-param eter are presented.
