The magnetic properties and structure of magnetic alumite films with m
icropores filled with Co have been studied using vibrating sample magn
etometer and XRD methods. Variation of the magnetic characteristics fo
r the films with fixed pore system parameters was achieved by changing
the Co electro-deposition conditions. The coercive force measured nor
mal to the film plane can be regulated between 1000 and 1500-1800 Oe b
y varying the solution temperature in the range from 0 to 55 degrees C
at pH 5. It was found that this fact was caused by reorientations of
the hcp-Co c-axis relative to the film plane.
