Ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) investigations (9-92 GHz) of the magneto
crystalline anisotropy, K-1, of FexCo1-x alloy films are presented. Th
e samples were prepared on MgO (001) substrates by rf sputtering. The
bcc-fcc transition is found at about x approximate to 0.15, which is a
lso reflected in a maximum of the FMR linewidth. K-1(x) follows qualit
atively the bulk behaviour, but the change of sign occurs at x approxi
mate to 0.7, which is higher than in bulk samples. Additional temperat
ure dependent measurements are shown.
