Abstract
Two types of trilayer structure have been produced comprising a Cr und er layer and Co72Cr14Pt14 magnetic layers. The magnetic behavior (hyst eresis loops, switching fields, etc.) of the structures depends on whe ther Cr or Pt spacers are used. It is believed that the difference is due to a weakening of the planar anisotropy in the case of Pt spacers.
