Abstract
The problem of perpendicular and in-plane spin-dependent transport in magnetic superlattices is treated within a unified semi-classical appr oach. By starting from the Boltzmann equation with exact boundary cond itions, we calculate the magnetoresistance in both geometries. A corre lation between the giant magnetoresistance and the superlattice magnet ization is also considered.
