Abstract
We have optimized the giant magnetoresistance of coevaporated (CoFe)Ag alloys as a function of the nature of the substrate, the sample thick ness and the alloy composition. The alloy-substrates adherence has bee n controlled with in situ resistance measurements. The observed variat ion of the coercive field with particle size suggests the existence of interparticle interactions.
