Abstract
Emodin, a precursor of chrysophanol in the biosynthesis of cynodontin by Pyrenochaeta terrestris, has been tritiated with a high specific ra dioactivity (12.5 Ci/mmol) by hydrogenolysis of bromomethyl emodin.
