Abstract
Roxithromycine, a new macrolide, was labelled with [C-11]CH3I in a goo d radiochemical yield (40-45%)and high specific activities (500-550mCi /mu mol). This antibiotic may be useful for detecting pulmonar or cere bral infection foci using positron emission tomography.
