Abstract
Given a generic immersion f:S-1 --> S-2 of a circle into the sphere, w e find the best possible lower estimation for the number of triple poi nts of a generic immersion F : (M,S-1) (B-3,S-2) extending f, where M is an oriented surface with boundary partial derivative M = S-1, B-3 i s the 3-dimensional ball with boundary S-2.
