Abstract
Coronary blood flow velocity analysis of the contralateral and of the ipsilateral artery can be used to assess collateral flow during contro lled balloon coronary occlusion. Coronary blood Row velocity assessmen t in combination with measurement of aortic pressure and coronary wedg e pressure permits expression of the development of the collateral cir culation in terms of flow and resistance.
