Abstract
Lateral laryngeal saccular cysts of the larynx that herniate through t he thyrohyoid membrane are quite rare. We present a case of a huge mid cervical cyst which occurred as a result of extreme neglect of a later al saccular cyst. This case provided us with a unique opportunity to c haracterize the late stages of this pathology. The differential diagno sis of cervical cysts and treatment approaches are discussed.
