Abstract
We study the stability of the explicit symmetric multistep scheme (ESM ) as a numerical method of solving the time-dependent Schrodinger equa tion, We use the most general sets of the coefficients of ESM in order to find a set of coefficients that gives the widest range of stabilit y.
