P. Crigel et al., THE ANTIPARASITIC EFFICACY OF QUINALDINE, AN ANESTHETIC AGENT IN FISH, WAS EVALUATED AGAINST THE TRICHODINES AND THE TREMATODS DACTYLOGYRUSAND GYRODACTYLUS, Annales de medecine veterinaire, 139(5), 1995, pp. 343-348
The highest efficacy was obtained with a concentration of 26 mg/l of q
uinaldine. This concentration allows to maintain the anaesthesia durin
g 100 seconds. After maintaining the fish for 30 minutes in the recove
ry tank, the animal must be moved to clean water.
