Abstract
Bordetella bronchiseptica was isolated from nasal discharge of two hor ses with respiratory disorders. Bordetella bronchiseptica respiratory infections in horses are rarely described. Howewer, as in kennel cough in dogs, this bacteria could act as primary respiratory pathogen in h orses especially after surgery. Molecular epidemiological data (riboty ping) suggest a cross-contamination between the two horses.
