Abstract
We prove some consistency results about b(lambda) and d(lambda), which are natural generalisations of the cardinal invariants of the continu um b and d. We also define invariants b(c1)(lambda) and d(c1)(lambda), and prove that almost always b(lambda) = b(c1)(lambda) and d(lambda) = d(c1)(lambda).
