The dielectric permittivity measurements on binary mixtures of Allyl A
lcohol with (i)Pyridine, (ii)1,4-Dioxane (associated - non associated)
and (iii)Phenol (associated-associated) have been carried out at sing
le frequency at 9.8 GHz and at 1 kHz. The dielectric data are analysed
in terms of the separate relaxation times tau(1) & tau(2), Kirkwood l
inear correlation factor 'g' and interaction dipole moment Delta mu. T
he results indicate that the presence of double bond in allyl alcohol
does not seem to influence appreciably on the complex formation and re
laxation mechanisms of the complexes. The hydrogen bonding in these co
mplexes formed is predominantly of polarization interaction effect.
