Abstract
Data on mapping of rye dwarfing gene ct1 are presented. The F-2 popula tion of rye plants from crossing of the Halo (Ct1/Ct1) and Gulzow Kurz (ct1/ct1) varieties was analyzed by the RFLP method. The gene was loc ated using 17 molecular probes. One of the probes, ScB 11, was isolate d by the authors from Pst I genomic library of rye. According to the d ata obtained, the ct1 gene was located on chromosome 7 in the centrome re region between the probes X alpha-Amy2 and Xpsr163.
