Abstract
(+)-Osmundalactone, a new natural product, and three gamma-lactones, o ne of which is new, together with eight spiromentins, six of which are new, have been isolated from the fungus Paxillus atrotomentosus. Thei r structures were established by spectroscopic methods and X-ray analy sis.
