Abstract
The complexes [P(C6H5)(4)][M(diod)(2)][where M = Ni, Pd, Cu or Au (2a, b, c, d)] have been prepared and characterized spectroscopically, ele ctrochemically and by X-ray structure determination for 2c. Preparatio n of 2d involved isolation of an intermediate complex with only one di ed ligand. The Ni complex 2a forms semiconducting charge transfer comp lexes with TTF and BEDT-TTF.
