Abstract
The results of the experimental investigation of temperature dependenc es of spill waves (SW) parametric excitation threshold h(thr) and rela xation parameter Delta H-k in monocrystal plates and epitaxial films o f yttrium-iron garnet (YIG) are discussed. It was shown, that SW dampi ng in epitaxial YIG layer is stronger than that in tile monocrystal pl ate, the difference becomes greater with temperature decreasing. This fact is explained by all influence of paramagnetic substrate and incre ased concentration of impurities of solvent and crucible due to epitax ial technology features. The above investigations were carried out at temperature From 4.2 to 300 K in the 3-cm wavelength band.
