POLYMORPHISM OF D2O CRYOCONDENSATES

The experimental results are discussed of an investigation into the de pendence of growth rate, indices of refraction and IR reflection spect ra of heavy water cryocrystals upon the conditions of their formation (temperature of condensation surface and pressure of gaseous phase). B ased on the peculiarities of the temperature dependence of growth rate and indices of refraction as well as on the IR reflection spectra of the D2O cryocondensate layers, the conclusion can be drawn regarding n umerous structural-morphological transformations in vacuum condensates of the substance understudy.
