Abstract
A 19 year old woman presented with symptoms suggestive of occupational asthma. The causative agent was thought to be a soft solder flux, whi ch did not contain colophony. The diagnosis was established by specifi c inhalation challenge tests, which demonstrated both late asthmatic r eactions and short-lived increases in airway responsiveness,.
