Abstract
Thermogravimetric analysis has been used to study the dehydrochlorinat ion of VDC copolymer. Dynamic and isothermal methods have been compare d and the problem of active mass considered. Results indicate that whi lst useful information can be rapidly obtained from a single dynamic a nalysis, consistency and accuracy are often compromised compared to is othermal studies.
