Abstract
Data from the semantic differential are often analyzed with a repeated -measures analysis of variance. The problem of an appropriate distance function is addressed and a permutation multivariate repeated-measure s analysis of variance is introduced which preserves the Euclidean dat a space mandated by the semantic differential.
