Abstract
The nucleotide sequence of the pdh gene coding for PheDH from Bacillus badius IAM 11059 was analyzed. The gene consists of an ORF of 1140 nu cleotides,which specifies a protein of 380 codons. The primary structu re of PheDH is similar to PheDH from B. sphaericus, PheDH from Themoac tinomyces intermedius, and leucine dehydrogenase from B. stearothemoph ilus, etc.
