Abstract
A Monte Carlo simulation study is performed to determine the ratio gam ma/mu of the rate coefficient for bimolecular charge recombination and the charge carrier mobility in a hopping system with built-in energet ic disorder. The result indicates that gamma/mu is independent of diso rder but increases at large electric fields at which the charge carrie r velocity saturates.
