Abstract
The relationship between a TV viewer and a TV performer is a mode of s ocial interaction. The purpose of this article is to discuss the condi tions under which it is possible to create a transference relationship between television and viewers. We present four models of interaction in the TV relationship. Our purpose is to point out some aspects that would help to create a relationship for the purpose of changing TV vi ewers' health behaviour.
