Abstract
We report on the observation of mirrorless oscillation in photorefract ive BaTiO3 pumped by two pairs of two nearly counterpropagating light waves, each of them containing an ordinary and an extraordinary compon ent of polarization. The oscillation waves are located on a cone with an apex angle defined by the phase-matching conditions of this process .
