Abstract
The inclusive production of p(0)(770) and f(2)(1270) resonances in 32- GeV/c pp and (p) over bar p interactions are analyzed. Experimental da ta are obtained with the MIRABELLE liquid-hydrogen bubble chamber expo sed to proton and antiproton beams from the IHEP accelerator (Protvino ). The total and topological cross sections for the production of p(0) (770) and f(2)(1270) mesons are determined. The longitudinal- and tran sverse-momentum distributions of these particles from pp and (p) over bar p collisions are compared.
