Abstract
A model for describing transverse expansion of quark-gluon plasma is p roposed. The model is based on the integrated laws of energy and entro py conservation and on a numerical solution to three-dimensional equat ions of hydrodynamics. A change in the fraction of parton matter durin g a phase transition and the lifetime of the mixed phase are evaluated on the basis of this model.
