Abstract
We consider the effects of the junction geometry in view of the requir ements imposed by a possible use of Josephson tunnel junctions as nucl ear detectors. The magnetic field dependence of the critical-current o f rhombus shaped junctions has been investigated both experimentally a nd theoretically.
