Abstract
A new method for treating photovoltaic solar cell front surfaces is pr esented in this article. The cell front surfaces are treated by electr odeposition of heteropolyanions. Improvements in the I-V characteristi cs of the solar cells have been observed. We also noticed that this tr eatment causes a 12.61% increase in the short-circuit current and an 1 1% increase in the efficiency. The Variation in the solar cell's elect rical parameters with treatment time and operating conditions are seen by the effect on cell performance.
